Its been another great week. We had a lot more
success with lessons and everything this week. Not great but it is
getting better. The people here in my sector don't really want to listen
but the people that actually take the time to listen to our message, we
can see a change come about them. Its truly amazing.
Just a few news. We are now officially in chile
santiago sur (South) mission. and its kind of weird. all the people that we knew
are now in a completely different mission. But its way cool because we
get to open up a mission. Our new president is President cook. I think
we meet him next week.
And something else. There was talk of the conference last week, and it is completely changing missionary work.
They
said that now missionaries would now be inside the chapels in the less
active parts of the day. Working with people through the internet. SO
for part of the day we will probably be in the church working through
the internet but first we have to meet our new president and find out. I
don't know how i feel about that but i guess we are going to find out.
haha
This week a few stories.
Well yesterday was sunday
and after church we were walking back to our pension and elder catalan
said that he wanted completos. And i said there was no way because it
was sunday
and nobody is going to give us completos. and he said a prayer asking
for completos and i thought that was sacreligious but i was completely
wrong. We were waiting for lunch and the woman that was making it for us
asked if we wanted completos while we wait. Unbelievable. prayers
answered. We got 2 completos. and i thought that was the last of that.
But then a noche de hogar with a family they said they had a surprise
for us and then brought out a tray of like 20 completos. Completely
ridiculous.
Im pretty sure that God has a sense of humor. ahahaha
But
we are teaching a family and the parents need to get married but we
have a baptism set in two sundays so its super cool i cant wait!!
